I need an amp to power my line arrays... I wanna go sorda cheap so I'm probably just gonna get a Crest CPX-1500 or QSC 1450/1850HD or Crown CE1000
But I've read some reviews and everyone says the QSC plays 2 ohm stereo ALL day without problems, and that's where my setup would run it at...
so... my question is... which of these amps can play 2 ohms stereo without problems? this would be the only load it would ever see from me... and it would be all day long... I don't want it to cut out/add noise...

the Crown is the least powerful, but on a sagging outlet it puts out rated power still...
the QSC is a beast with awesome cooling and a cheap pricetag to boot...
the Crest is cheaper than the QSC... especially the 2600 vs. the 2450... and they say it only has 1% THD when driven to full power at 4 ohms bridged (2 ohms stereo)... the CPX-1500 is what I would get...

My cousin who does quite a bit of gigging up in Liverpool runs both an EP2500 and QSC 2540.
I've heard both but its hard to tell any differences between them in a live situation and I haven't had the chance to hear them in the relaxed atmostphere of a lounge.
In his words though, the QSC is better into 2ohm loads such as paralleled woofer arrays - which he uses and the Behringer does the mid highs on some large Mackies.
Think the Behringer would clip into 2ohm's at very high SPL's on the bass. QSC is also heavier and hence I suspect better built. I know you didn't ask for advice on the EP2500 but its all I've got to go on at the moment. By all account the QSC looks to be solid.

Go cheap and build your own! DIY.
Take one LF357, 2xBC546/BC556 pairs, 1xBF469/470 pair and a bunch of MOSFETs like IRFP240/9240, one transformer of your amp power rating and 20KuF C's
oh and a box and heatsinks. 0.01% THD easy.

I spent awhile deciding what pro amp to get for my subs... I ended up getting one of the cheapest: Crown XLS (the 602)... More than enough for me running two 8 ohm subs. I got the fans slowed down and I never feel even the slightest warmth coming out of the amp at any listening level that my mains can keep up with...
I think any of the amps you mention are capable of more than you will likely require of them. With the efficiency of the line array you will likely have bleeding ears before you have power problems. Is it really necessary to run at 2 ohm?
IMO, there's no contest between the QSC and Crown. The QSC is simply a beast. I have run my RMX850 on tough loads all day without any problems. Plus, QSC tests their amplifiers into all protection modes which Crown must skip, at least on some models. Furthermore, the RMX series has socketed op amps on the front end which I like because you can change them. It should have 5532 from the factory. Last but not least, I think Crown offers it as well, but the QSC will have a 6 year warranty if you register it.

That's a brand I have heard little about. QSC on the other hand is always mentioned.

I have only one thing to say about the CE1000/2000 amps and it is this :
They do it with monotonous regularity (I have 5 of them in my workshop at present, all crispy critters), QSC OTOH are wonderous beasts.

All 3 of those amps are designed for long term reliability under use, low cost for the rated power, and with little consideration for how they would sound in a home hifi... they might make good doorstops thou...
You'd likely be way better off not concerning yourself with power & get an amp that is designed with sound quality in mind.
