I recently received a Gromes lj6 and a knight 928b. Both amps work but the knight had a hum. I bypassed one of the two prong caps with some electolytics and the hum is greatly reduced (yeah my first amp repair/mod). I was wondering if any of you guys have more info on this knight amp. I would also like to know if it is worth keeping original or if I should

I found this for the Grommer

I would love to find a second one of these amps so I could. This looks like a pretty simple amp. Do you think this amp would be a good canidate for a clone? I have never built an amp and it seems like this would be a nice place to start.
