Could somebody tell me what these are worth?

Found these in my basement the other day covered in dust. I don't really know anything about speakers / tweeters but I figured some of you guys from this forum would know what was up. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

It's written on the back : ribbon tweeter ( super tweeter ) made by Decca
Super means super high frequencies, when ordinary (old) tweeters failed to give
substantial energy content ( SPL) above 15 kHz.
Probably there's already a crossover inside ( I guess ) so they can be directly paralleled to speaker's terminals, and they were meant to be placed on the top of the enclosure.

I'm actually looking to sell these and was just wondering if you or anyone else had seen them before and could give me a price range for them.

Some ebays announcements remain deserted, as they ask too much ( around 400 $ ). So 200 $ might be the right price, considering that for 200 $ you can buy a modern ribbon -that can perform 2000-40000 Hz .

Hi there, I can be wrong, but as far as I remember, Mark Levinson used those Decca ribbon tweeters for his incredible audio system, (see here: DIY - HQD Decca Quad ESL 57 Richard Allan | Full range | AudiogoN - The High-end Audio Community), and at that time it was considered the best sounding machine in the world. It was the end of the seventies, long time ago, but I suppose your tweeters still worth something in terms of historic value.

With E-Bay I always start low but, if necessary, add a realistic reserve. Starting too high often puts people off bidding but once they get started anything can happen.
