Therefore 1 to 2, 1 to 3, 1 to 4, 1 to 5, 1 to 6 and then 2 to 1, 2 to 3, 2 to 4, 2 to 5, 2 to 6 and so on? All the way up to 6 to 5? That's a lot of combinations! 😩

For whatever row is negative on the speaker plug, just check to see if all of them are directly connected.
It would be VERY unlikely to do any damage with the meter on ohms and the amp not connected to anything.
