miniOnkens are a bass reflex with high aspect ratio vents that add R to the vent, pushing them towards aperiodic. This requires a very speciific alignment. The boxes tend to small, they only go as low as they go, but have elegant, articulate bass. They typically come in trapezoidl & rectangular miniOnkens with vents sown the sides, the Classic Golden Ratio (CGR) that have a (close to) (1/1.618)=0.618:1:1.618 ratio, a Compact Floorstander which uses some tricks to get a stand-mount to reach the floor. And the miliSize box which is the size of an LS3/5A (turned sideways) and accomodates many 3-4.5” drivers.
And other odd ones. Some custom jobs to fit the alignment into a specific application. Including the use of IKEA Blanda bowls.
