Corner deflectors in back loaded horns?

Do these help or hinder the result (subwoofer)?

The corner "deflectors" help brace the cabinet, which may reduce upper losses, but the reduction in both back chamber and port volume should reduce low frequency output.
What looks like multiple individual pipe resonances are evident in the response chart, but without any reference to where the measurement mic position was (and lack of frequency identification) not much information to go on.
