"Cooler Tunes" for biking or anywhere!!

On a Stereo Amp, how would the speakers be wired to make it bridged? I know on my old car stereo amp, it is bridged when you go to the Left channel neg and the Right channel Positive. But you don't hook anything else up to the other channel when doing that. Anyhow, that was kinda puzzling me.

I was actually thinking of bridging your inputs to get the same signal out to both speakers. With the level of integration of your sources, this will likely not be worth trying.

I haven't taken the amplifier apart to find out where the RF sensor is for the remote, but I assume it is behind the dark plastic LCD screen on the front. To extend the remotes sensor, I assume it would just be 2 wires I would need to solder from the sensor to the external placement of choice? 24 gauge should do the trick I assume? Oh and some heat shrink tubing..

You're on the right track with extending the remote capabilities, but if it used RF you could probably get it to work the way it is. Your assumption of the sensor location sounds typical of what I've seen and 24AWG should be adequate. If you wanted to get really fancy, you could install a headphone jack for the exender so you could leave the wiring on the bike when you pull the cooler off.
 
I ordered a couple 1-7/8" ID ports from Parts Express today. It looks like with an Internal cu ft of .3, having the port cut off at 4.23" would be a 65 Hz tuning and having it cut off at 2" would be a 84Hz tuning. I think I will try it out around the 4.23" length first and maybe go down if the tuning is too low for this small of a box. Does anyone have any recommended audio tracks for playing around with the tuning of the enclosure? I think I may just use some Black Eyed Peas tracks to go off of for the bass beats. After that, maybe some As I Lay Dying.

Port is 1-7/8". I cut it down from 5" to a little over 2" for around a 84 Hz tuning (rough guess with online calculation).

Well I the cool factor is off the scale😎. As far as test tracks, I would pick a representative sample of what you will be playing most instead of trying to cater to extreme examples. And that port being so close to the botton will make it appear just a hair longer acousticly so your actual tuning may be lower than you calculated.

Also, I am working on a build for a handicap person who drive a scooters. Currently I have a request for one with 4 speakers, USB and SD reader, a remote control and a lighting kit to light up the whole underside of his scooter. Yep, we're bringing tuners back! :wchair: Just not ricers this time.
 
Can you let me know where you found the port calculator? I just built a cooler stereo using this cooler and was thinking a port might help out with improving the bass level.

Also, does dynamat or other deadening material improve the sound quality? I have some thin tar-like stuff (for high freq) and some thicker foam-like stuff (for low freq) from Elemental Designs.
