How do you bend the sides into shape? The only way I can figure this is by using many layers of ultra-thin plywood...
You can also use a table saw or router to make "slits?" in a board and then you will be able to bend it. There is calculations that will allow you to have an appropriate distance between the "slits?" depending on the radius of the bend. The same principle as that used in the "bendable MDF" sheets that sells for serious money. Those I've only seen in 9 mm so far, but there might be thicker ones out there.
