It will have similar power ratings (125-150Wpc into 8 Ohms). The power meters have an adjustment pot in them, so they can probably be reused, but I have decided to go with a replacement front panel made from walnut. Also making a few revisions to the rear panel.
You sound more excited than I do! Making it fit into an existing layout is an interesting challenge, however.

Well, you got me thinking again about a black aluminum face plate. Then I could use the white silkscreen transfer sheets to put a modified NIKKO - Leach label on it.
I have decided to the Soft Switch circuit from Maxhawk linked to a slightly modified version of Peranders SST-01 Soft Start circuit (integrated into my Power PC board).

So, I got the driver boards done, got the heat sinks machined (finally) and I was ready make my PS and output boards, when low and behold, I find the replacement transistors. All of them! $90 later and I am about to rebuild the Nikko to original (well maybe a little better) condition.
Turns out the hardest parts to locate were the 2SC2275 drivers.
I will be using the Leach amp parts I have, but in a new case.
So, now I am building the Nikko, a Leach, a 4780 GC, an Aleph 30, and maybe Jens' Leach memake. Think I need to start building some more speakers.

Oh, meant to mention: B&D Enterprises is great. Great selection and fast shipping. All parts are original Toshiba ad NECs (look identical to the orignals I have anyway).
