I have saw quite a few posts and threads about mods to this player but couldn't really find any implementation (or atleast search didnt reveal anything) for substituting all or part of the psu to battery operation.
Has this been done yet ? I'd like to get more info about this.
I am thinking that the stock PS can stay except the 3.3V and 5V lines could be converted to battery. That saves the headache of the display and other powerup logic stuff. A 1.8V line is also dervied from the 3.3V line but I am not sure if 'batteryfying' if would help or not.
