Site seems fine, it is just the email notifications for me. Facebook never works properly from what I can tell, I lowered my expectations long ago.

I opened Gmail just now, same issue still, the mails are about threads I posted or looked at 24 to 36 hours back.
Even GMail is slow to open at peak hours here...can't log in at times.
But the site works fine, notifications appear in less than a minute if am logged in here, and if another member posts on a thread I have been looking at, the bell icon shows them.
Yesterday afternoon even WhatsApp was quiet, then after 730 PM local time I got many messages, but the status pictures I put up was being updated regularly.
So I would ask the administrators to check the server links, the site seems fine, and this issue is common to other sites as well.
And that may be a server farm issue, so not much the admins can do about it.

This issue should now be resolved, and the mail queue (which was being held up) has now all sent so you might get a bunch of emails you should have received over the last 24 hours or so.
Yep looks like a server or virtual server has gmt synchronisation issue. Purely a maintenance question...
Hmm, doesn’t look like it is resolved.
I got remaining old notifications, but no new related to messages posted after this “queue purge”, including those in this thread.
