Constantly bouncing DC Offset?

Post #31 illustrates the resolution well enough. Thermal oscillation as in ICs was talked about but no practical suggestions were made along those lines.
It was ungie in #26 who suggested replacing the cover and that was the effective solution, right?

Someone was not reading the posts to miss that.
 
There are loads of old National Semiconductor app notes that caution on the effects of thermal gradients and air current temp differentials that cause offset drift problems. My sx and nx amps do not use a servo and are low feedback designs. They also bounce around by a few mV - put the cover on and leave them for a minute and they settle nicely to within a 3-4 mV band around 0V.
