That is beyond my skills to build i have to say. I'm more looking for a ready made product. I don't have access to a 3D printer or can mold such thing myself. Maybe in the futur i will do something like that, but compression drivers is still a bit new terrain for me, so let's first start to learn walk before i start running. But it's an interesting id, so thanks.
Some people offline point me to the H2EA from Eminence as a good solution. Yesterday evening i also heared a setup like that with a Beyma SM115 woofer and a CP/850ND tweeter in that horn crossed at 700Hz and that actually was a lot like i want, sonically and technically. The horn is out of stock everywhere here for the moment, but except when someone comes with a better solution that fit's my skills, budget and needs that will be it i think. The HF201 driver on that horn (i have one here and mounted it on the horn to test) sounded even better when i mounted it, especially in the treble as the Beyma falls off to much above 10K (but not dramatically). I did not finetune it off course, but fideling with the dsp (dbx driverrack 360) for half an hour was enough to make it sound better already when put side by side (one stack with the beyma, one with the Faital, music in mono).

recently helped my brother rebuild and modify a pair of JBL SR 4726a two way these use a 4 ohm 2226 woofer and a 2447H 1.5" exit compression driver on a 2381 biradial horn. With some tweaking this is a very nice sounding speaker. If you only require one or to two closely spaced seats then it can do extremely well. They can totally disappear and provide exceptional stage and image with electrostatic like speed detail and resolution. Radian make an upgrade aluminum 4" diaphragm with a Mylar surround which sounds better than the titanium factory diaphragm and if you like you can even fit the driver with a beryllium diaphragm but they do cost a lot. Aquaplas coating for factory diaphragms is also available. Your high frequency heating and preference will determine which option works best for you. With a layer of dynamat on the inside of the compression cup and a half inch layer of magic eraser inside the cup the factory diaphragm sounds very nice. Brought into the present you could take this format to the top of the pile and build a JBL4367 clone there is a new version of the horn and the compression driver is a two way co-planar design, the woofe r and compression driver are the same as used in the JBL Reference M2 monitor. I have listened to the M2 and would love to listen to this new version of the 4367 I assume it is exceptional. https://doc.av-connection.com/Products/JBL/Synthesis-4367-EN.pdf
I know that paper and heared both speakers. I did install an M2 set with a different amp and dsp system for someone actually as the owner doesn't like the crown amp JBL tries to sell with it. We used purifi based custom amps and a Mindsp Flex to do it, and took a few days to finetune the crossover for it (not easy i have to say). And the 4367 would be a speaker i would buy if it was not that expensive, i've heared it quiet a few times as a friend owns a pair.
But my budget is to small for such a project. A pair of 2226ND-1's used in both speakers is almost as expensive as my total budget, and i want to use a woofer and cabinet i already have used in an other setup. I want a horn and compression driver setup for it and settled for the Faital HF-201 compression driver that i know rather well (used in other projects (garden systems) for others, crossed at 1kHz and use a Minidsp flex for the crossover. Also, that horn is good, but impossible to get down here in Belgium. THe 2381 is an 1.5" driver horn and i have a 2" driver. I used the P Audio clone of the 2" variation (JBL 2380A) of it for those garden system projects actually...

There is the perfect horn for your use! https://www.limmerhorns.de/033/
I use these for my BMS coax with 2x12" - works very well and for sure loads good to 800Hz.

That one looks good and price is ok, but very little info about it. Do you have pictures of that horn (the back side). Is it with a mounting piece for a 2" driver like the Faital HF-201?
It's a smaller German manufacturer who does mainly OEM as far as I know but also sells some of his stuff for DIY.
Yes, you can mount a standard 4 screw 2" driver directly, but I don't have pictures from the backside cause it sits in my PA speakers ;-)

btw - google picture search shows you 2 pictures of the horn from the backside on the first half page ...
