Well, after some soul searching, I pulled the chassis out of my $13 Philco 51-1733, studied the wires attached to the turntable, rigged up an embarrassingly cheezy 1/4" splice cable, turned on my stompbox... et voila! LOTS of volume, surprisingly strong bass, SWEET feedback screams...Im in ignorant bliss!! Dont bring me down with safe voltage practices!🙄
