I know nothing about it really other that it's 'entry level'
But it's claimed as Brand New for 300$.
Which seems as perhaps more than I would prefer to pay... unless it's exceptional.
Really can't decide if it's worth buying... Any views on this?

Hi,
You can find very good used CD players for not a lot.
They don't go for much more than mundane models.
rgds, sreten.

Thanks gents..
Consequently discovered that the same price is available from a Bricks 'n Mortar shop.
If this isn't a Hidden Gem .. (not entirely surprised) there isn't much motivation to buy it.
Agreed .. 300$ could do much better in Used gear.

Have you thought perhaps of a Cambridge 840?
Cambridge products in general seem to be sonic over-achievers. I have an 840 CD player that I really like. Mechanically it's much better than the CD30 (should be for the price difference). The CD30 sounds pretty good in comparison to the 840, it's just not in the same league mechanically.
If you could pic up a used 840 for not too much it might just work a treat for you.
