Connex electronics doesnt answer...

What's the issue in having -stan as a suffix in the name of a country. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/-stan while "Romani" is the predominant ethnicity populating the country. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romani_people#
For example, China is also known as "middle kingdom" and the locals are proud with this name.

I think is not a surprise for anyone but those who haven't followed my previous posts that I came in China many years ago and started the connexelectronic business which is now owned by a Chinese company. China has offered and still offers much more opportunities than the country where I was born.
And the weather is much warmer if have any relevance in this topic.
While there can be many valid reasons for many issues with Connex, the whole thing just points to buyer beware when dealing directly with suppliers physically located in China.
I agree with you, isn't easy for neither of us, seller or buyer with the latest issues worldwide.
Supply issues, restrictions and new rules and regulations, shipping cost is more expensive than ever, while it's quality and shipping time lack behind.

If you're looking for their SMPS and just don't like the store location, you can get them here, too:
https://hifimediy.com/
The guys there will also respond to your questions via their ticket system.
Nick from hifimediy and the guys from Audiophonics are happy to help you with your inquiry and they often forward me the questions which require more knowledge. They are of an immense help in dealing with end customer quickly and reliably, as they have products on stock in Europe and USA and often is more convenient, faster or cheaper to get a certain SMPS from them than directly from us. If you need a power supply which is available at them, I encourage you to buy it from them.

So you've moved the "rhomanistan" way of doing bussiness in Bucharest on Maica Domnului to Chinastan..cause we are not talking about how romanians living in Romania like to talk about their own country...You just added an "n" to the original name of that company ...In the future you may look at adding an "h" to your own name as well...to look more western...cause why not? "Christian Lee(stan) :) ?

We only make bussiness with Chanadi-stan and US-stan...because there's where the money come from...We only have good weather here...

1. Are you sure we are talking about the same company ? There are at least a dozen of companies which contain the name conex or connex.
2. I already have an official (translated) Chinese name. It is a must to be able to live here and apply for documents, residence, patents.

Same issue as the initiator, we exchanged dozens and dozens of emails in the past 10+ years, I provided you the tracking info within hours of receiving it, I follow-up the tracking few times. Instead you haven't replied to my last mails. Do I have to send you an email or two each day without a reason ?

Not sure who you have me confused with but we have not had "dozens" of emails exchanged. And you most certainly did not send me tracking information "within hours of receiving it". I had to ask for it 5 weeks later.

And the package has still not arrived.

Not interested in further discussion about it. I've moved on. Thank you for posting as I think your response speaks for itself.

I can only tell you about my own experience. I have bought 6 Connex items from both Connex and Enigma Component shop in the UK. e were a few issues with one of the modules related to the UK‘s mains voltage but Connex, via Christi I assume, worked with me and we sorted the problem. Later I bought a further two modules and Connex had changed the modules.

I understand that as a DIY’er this could be frustrating but you would not get more help from Hypex or ICEPower. Use the distributors like AudioPhonics or hifimediy, contacting Connex only as a last result.

Finally, the quality of Connex products does not concern me. They are a class apart from the normal Chinese products where you have no idea who made them. Response to questions could have been better in normal times BUT the zero Covid policy plus the Internet issues in China were excuse enough for me. The responses, when they came made sense and were helpful. If you have a limited knowledge of Electronics, you may not struggle with the responses but for me, I would not hesitate to buy Connex again.

Guys, he used to have a board here for years. There's no need to act like there's no established history of both expressed concerns and defense of this vendor. Connex doesn't need additional testimonials. As I said, his response speaks for itself. Of course people should feel free to patronize whomever they like.
