I am using windows vista and my current video card installed in my pc is an ati 9550 and i would like to connect my DIY pj using the yellow RCA plug can someone shed some lite on this for me please.How do i do this i have all the cables and conections but how do i use the ati software in order to use the image from my PC Thanks!!
Does your DIY projector AND you graphics card have the yellow composite connector on them? If yes, then it's a matter of a little setting up. If not, then it's much harder.

You want to
"Extend my Desktop"
somewhere in the ATi software you should see that option. Or else you could go into your normal desktop properties and enabled that option (same spot you would change your resolution).
Sopmetimes you have to restartthe computer with the projector turned on and with the proper input selected before windows will recognize the second monitor.

another way so you dont have to extend you desktop. If you right click on your desktop, then goto properties, then goto the Settings tab at the top. after that click the Advance button on the bottom right. Cycle though the tab at the top. You if you see the one where it looks like 3 monitors, each in there own window looking thing, you'll see one where there is a red button on the top left corner of that panel, that panel will say TV or something like that. Click that to ON.
