Hi please could someone help. I've been offered an Ice 1000asp based power amp that only has balanced inputs. I only have an unbalanced source/pre. Can I check I'm fine with these modules to just link ground output to ground and cold input. I would have assumed so only I remember that there's a problem with tripath amps if you join the L/R outputs to a common ground (e.g. Headphones) you can blow it. Not directly relevant but makes me think class d amps can have quirks with the connections and you can't just assume.
Assuming that's ok, if I want to add RCA inputs I can just wire them as I said above? Is that how the professional ice based amps with unbalanced inputs would be done?
Is the 1000asp a mono board i.e. There must be 2 modules in this stereo amp?
Thanks!
