Hi People!
Can someone write me how to connect the 500A modules with 1000ASP?
I know how to connect the Input Signal, Speakers, but I am not sure for the Power ( between ASP & A Modules ).
Do I need fuses between the modules?
Want to use this modules for a 3-way Speaker (with xilica XM-2040)
thanks & regards

If you look at the 1000ASP pinout you will see two voltage pins. One is for a 1000A and one is for the 500A. Use the voltage pin for your module. The 500A is the lower voltage pin (80VDC?) and 1000A is higher voltage pin (120VDC?) . The 1000ASP designer manual details the connection. Google 1000ASP design manual.
You should not need a fuse on the power connection from 1000ASP to 500A, but it won't hurt.

Hi!
Thanks for your fast answer.
But, what's with the Vcc and Vss pins (+12.8V/-12.8V) ???
Do I have to connect this two pins also? (like on the page 44 of 46 from ICEpowerASP-Series_DesignersManual_1-4.pdf manual?
thanks

You must also connect +/- 12V output on the 1000ASP to the +/- 12V input on the 500A.
Yes, correct...forgot that part...
Yes, you have to connect these +/-12VDC connections.
I have read that it is best to have a single Diode in series with both +/-12VDC connections to 500A modules too to prevent destroying the 500A module....don't remember exactly why...

Hmmm, I thought I need fuses between the +/-12V . . .
Can you say wherre have you read about it?
