Post 1 : "I have no bench equipment at my disposal".
You stated using a cheap tester from China and use a voltmeter also.
Any more ?
Post 12 : "No, that is pretty much the sum of my test equipment".
Post 20 : "I do have a variac and dim bulb tester but neglected to
disclose that".
Post 20 : "And I have not replaced any of the TO3 output transistors".
Your other thread and earlier posts suggest that you replaced "two
defective output transistors are/were the top pair in the left channel"
with replacement parts.
Now it seems you operated the bad channel without any power transistors
at all or with only half of the total count.
It should be clear that operation of a blown stage is not possible this way.
I am out here. Your level of communication and honesty also is lower than
what is known in this forum. You wasted our time.
Final hint : operation is possible with two power transistors, one on top and
one on lower half is everything else is ok.
