i just spotted a "solder iron in a jar" item on ebay called conductive wire glue. does anyone have any experience with this?
thanks
thanks
I was interested in using this stuff too but check out the feedback for a similar product at All Electronics first before buying. It sounds like it's more of a conductive paint and not really good for strong joints like you would use solder for, though it's useful for other applications like fixing PC traces and conductive keypads.
That "wire glue" is widely available on EBAY.
Some even states it is conductive paint rather than glu in the small print.
There is also conductive epoxy -- Silver Epoxy Kit-14 grams-CONDUCTIVE when cured on eBay (end time 11-Apr-10 21:52:06 BST)
I tried this ages ago to fix a heated rear screen in my car.

Here is another source of the "wire glue", from a place I often order odds-n-ends from......
