Hello,
I would like to build a sub with two Dayton 6.5s in seperate enclosures. I have an amplifer that will supply 25 watts rms and two channels. The Dayton 6.5 has a sensitivity of 88db/watt What will the sensitivity be of the overall system?
thanks in advance,
Opie

The sensitivity, with both channels driven at 1 Watt each, will be 94 dB at 1 Meter. For 25 Watts each channel, that will go up to slightly over 107 dB total SPL, measured 1 Meter away.
In a reasonably sized room, you can expect the entire room to be slightly down from the 1 Meter measurement. Reverberation keeps it from falling off too quickly with distance, like it would in an open space.
