I didn't manage to find original Toshiba 2SC1079. I purchased some units from the Canadian Pacific Semiconductors, but unfortunately I was cheated. I received fake 2SC1079.
I've give up getting original Toshiba's NPN complementary for the original NOS Toshiba 2SA679 I have and now I'm thinking of other options. Can I use a Toshiba 2SD551 together with 2SA679? Will my Luxman L-85V sound finely by using the referred pair?

I find a 2SC1079 made by HTC brand, but I don't know it it sounds good. Will it be a better option than a Toshiba 2SD551?
