Compensate for magnet size in a TH?

This could be a very silly question..🙄

It dawned on me that with the 3015lf in a TH, the magnet structure size was not much of an issue. Since we now have to switch to the Kappa 15lfa or other large ferrous magnet speaker, should we compensate for the lost volume and obstruction in the horn? And if so...how?

You'd make S3 slightly bigger, which is a fair size re-do of the design.

The subwoofers in my signature were originally built with a driver of similar problem to what you describe. The measurements are a few pages into the thread, but they appear to correlate closely to what the simulations show.
