Please tell me what am I doing wrong.
Got Sharp QA-1150 from ebay, of course seller didn't say anything about broken RCA Video In. Please beware of this scam, please do ask all the questions before bid.
Anyhow, connected DVD player to the panel, nothing happened so I gave Video In from the DVD or VCR player. Finally, figured out how to reduced window xp screen display settings to 640 by 480 pixels to match up with the panel and got something displayed on the LCD.
Question:
If I run WinDVD, I only see/hear slow motion and distorted sound on LCD panel yet not on CRT screen. Is there any solution for this problem?
Thank you very much for your help.

Are you sure that the rca jack is bad? I originally thought mine on my 1750 was bad but the way to select inputs is to is to hold selct and press the up or down buttons. This will switch the inputs. I don't mean to insult you if you already know this, but I was burned on this before. Also, sometime the cable is not compatible with pc vga. I tried 5 different cables and adapters till I got picture.
I think that might be because of a low refresh rate or something like that. My friend's old laptop does that on the LCD screen when we try MPEG files on it, but if I hook it up to my monitor, they run fine.
YAhhhh
YAHHH im so glad its going to good use. Thats a great picture, how much did you pay for the lcd panel?
