Compare simulated and actual phase - from each drivers measured separately connected with its own xover

I want to check if my 3 way drivers are really in phase as compared to the simulated xover . Let's say that in my vituixcad xover sim, my midrange driver is the one to reverse in order to have a big dip which will confrim that I will get a good phase tracking.
Now if I measure each driver separately with its own xover and export each FRDs into Vituixcad, will the new simulation ( with midrange reversed and no additional components added ) reflects more or less the same dip.

Yes it should. For example if you measure from the same mic position and you won't put any offset onto the drivers in the model, that should work.

that I will get a good phase tracking.
No, you can have good phase tracking and get no dip. You can have bad phase tracking and still have a dip.

In any case, looking at dips is not necessary in Vituixcad because it already shows phase, unless you're looking for a quick cross check.

I shall proceed soon with measurements with separate drivers' xover connected . 1. Do I need to proceed as I ve done before i.e Keep microphone at Tweeter level keeping same volume, measure woofer farfield at 1 m + nearfield, then merge, etc? 2. Do you recommend generating min phase in REW or vituixcad?

It sounds as though you're doing this to verify that the crossover is doing what it is supposed to do. Ok, this makes sure you haven't made any mistakes. However as far as accuracy is concerned, the simulation of the crossover is not prone to significant errors, it ought to work close to the way it was simulated. Certainly, any measurement errors would be more of an issue so if you need to do this be clear of what's important.

I wouldn't worry about the nearfield part unless one of your crosses falls in that region, as it sounds like a lot of difficulty for little benefit. As far as mic distance, are you trying to emulate your listening position? Your ears will be different distances and you'd have to work those out.

No.
