Ok, so I'm an idiot.
Why?
Because I left my OHP in the middle of my room and tripped over it this morning. This means I now have no panel, but a working driver board.
It was from a Compaq TFT500, worked well, I didn't need to extend any ribbon cables or anything and I only had a 250W light. Although I did need all the lights in the room to be off.
Anyway, the driver board is still working so if anyone is interested in buying it (maybe they did what I did but broke the board!) send me an email or reply to this post.
Also... if anyone has a TFT500 screen they want to sell me 😀 😀 do that too 😀 😀 (its the 15inch model).
Anyway, if your feeling down I'm sure this thread will cheer you up, so good day to you.

I have a TFT500
I have a working TFT 500 in use! Problem is, I already have everything stripped and working! I was thinking of going 17" in May when the new fresnel is available from DIYlabs (Alan). If you need the screen badly make me an offer I can't refuse to motivate me to build another PJ for the 17" ! I was thinking of doing this for the resolution benefit in games...
