I am looking at clocking my Transport, a Theta Data Basic II
In standard form this appers (to me anyway) to use a Colpits type oscillator, not the more common pierce, with a transistor on the "output".
Any thoughts on wheter a KWAK clock 7/Trichord II /TENT DIY clock would improve on this?
I have enjoyed the benefits clocking can bring in the past on my Marantz CD17 and an old Philips CD850.
Could I get some/most of the benefit by using Silvered Mica Caps instead of the dipped blobs Theta uses?
