Now THAT is a tube amp ! It's an RH84?

FireFly - It is a two channel SE running 6P1P-EV Tetrodes in U.L. 250V and 35mA. It puts out about 3.5W per channel.

I need to go back and take some more measurements now that they are finished.

I built two, one for my shop and one for my wife to replace her computer self powered speaker. I also built two sets of speakers using Fostek FE-103 drivers to go with them.

She wanted hers basic black, I decided to go with something close to Edcor blue.

Here are the twins.

Thanks, I prefer the blue one as well.

I'll leave the cover off mine, but install it in hers to prevent unauthorized access (kids, pets, etc). I may put several coats of Q-Dope on the terminals just for insulation and as a safety precaution.

If I were to do it again, I'd remove the mounting brackets, and mount the OPTs face down through the chassis with the wires below deck as suggested in another thread.

In small amps like these, I think bright colors work well. I can see Canary yellow with black transformers, and maybe a bright Red chassis with yellow or black transformers would work as well. British Racing Green would be more subdued.
