Well the artograph style projector is nearing completion and I managed to do a small test with the lens last night. Looks like it's going to be pretty good. Just some questions to improve the quality:
1 - Does the inside color of the projector matter? Obvously the area that projects onto the mirror should be black. Does painting the whole inside of the projector black improve performance? Should it be non reflective paint?
2 - I'm experimenting with a 150 mm. lens, D=60 mm. which seems to work fine. However, have any people experimented with 2 lenses? One to capture the source image and a second lens to project this image i.e. the focal point of lens 1 (target side) would coinside with the focal point of lens 2 (source side).
3 - Would making the inside of the projector smaller i.e. blocking of those areas that are not a factor improve quality?
