Color coding

The low voltage side has no "universal" colour coding.

Invent your own coding for AC wiring and a different colour coding for DC wiring and a further coding for signal wiring. But this does require many different wire sizes and colours as a stock = equals money.

Make these something that makes sense for YOU, so that you can remember and instantly recognise when you open up an old project.

Everyone has their own conventions. Personally I reserve 'warm' colours like red orange and yellow for positive DC or AC supply lines and 'cool' colours like blue violet brown for negative DC or AC returns. I almost always use green for connections expected to be at ground potential.

Just observe your regions standard with respect to any mains wiring.
