Anyway there was anither poster here who had Cat 6 cable in excess, wanted to make speaker cables from it.
Maybe we should get them to meet, and design something?
Keep them occupied...

I don't think it's your place to agitate for the removal of the OP from your sight because you find it unpalatable, and I don't think it's your place to go mocking people for their diy projects and then suggest that they should kept occupied away from you. Also, implicit in that last is that you speak for the rest of us. You don't.

The point was that little if any improvement would be achieved, and time never comes back.
It is a wasted effort, in my opinion.

His time, money and effort can be better utilized.
It is not mocking, just informing somebody to 'look before you leap'...if that is offensive, my apologies.
