Well I was planning on using the proview as well, but with theseissues I'm highly re-thinking. I've been waiting on someone to strip this, but I don't think anyone has attempted.
Every week there is usually a day it is marked down to $209 and I've seen it once with free shipping.
With the recent luck on CMV monitors this might strip easily.

The spec look almost the same as the CMV.
The price would come out to be about the same. Newegg charges $8 extra for Electronic Recycling Act, iCuePC doesn't.
I wonder if both used the same panel since the price is awfully close to each other, and the fact that both brand are from taiwan. At least their website have the .tw in the url.
I went with the cmv because someone on stripped a 15". Hopefully the 17" won't posses any obstacle.
