Hi guys.
I've finished my cmoy rebuild. I never take it with me, and I was sick of it sliding around in the sofa. It was like most of them in a mint pastel tin. So i wanted something heavy that would not slide around, and I also wanted it to run on 18v. So this is what I ended up with. I love the battery boxes, and I glued some op amp sockets inside of it, so I always know where they are.
Any of you guys made something like this? Feel free to upload some of your own amp.

Those battery boxes are pretty sweet! Amp looks great. Did you glue the opamp sockets inside in order to have a convenient place to store opamps for when you decide to roll them?
Yes I glued them on with hot glue. Seems to work fine. I decided to go with 3 sockets. I used sockets so I'm always sure the pins on the op amps are fine. So right now I have space for two extras. Btw the boxes are made for electric guitars os far as I know.
