Those four screws on the wooden 'cheeks' are an eyesore! If it was my amp, I would counter sink them so that they were almost out of site. There is plenty of thickness in the wood to do this.

Well what can I say, I'm running it on my computer studio setup 🙄 It's a nice little sucker, very dynamic compared to alephs heh. Sometimes it feels like it can kill you! Exteremly impressive for it's size and compactness, design, etc...

That's the reason I have not finished mine, just looking for correct bit. By the way looks beautiful.

NO!! :bigeyes: i offer a vote to leave the screws as they are!! w/ the washers showing too...it is a neat visual cue, and totally "form follows function". i used to counter sink cap-screws for everything...but recently have been on a kick of leaving them sticking out, and w/ copper washers to boot 😀

anyhow...beautiful amp!! you son is lucky!
