Its description is very vague on what it's actually doing. It almost reads as though it's a frame buffer, similar to Ian's one, but it doesn't have anywhere near the complexity to do that. It looks like it might be one of those nasty devices where it repeats or drops frames to bridge between to clock domains, like what used to be popular with the CS8412.

Cool setup for a "work environment". What kind of work do you do? Are you in the audio business, or just "office work"?
We have a tuner connected to the tube amp out to a set of CSS EL-70's in .5 cu ft ported boxes. The office is a home medical equipment company and this setup is nice for late night hours doing paperwork.
