Hi!
I have been swapping clock-circuits in my Monarchy M22B Dac,
trying out some different circuits, and by "accident" I swapped a circuit with a 16,xMhz clock for the original 11,xMhz...and it worked! No problems, locked and played...
A bit afraid of damaging anything, I did not give it time to really test for sonic changes.
Would there be any advantages/dangers of using incorect crystal?

But I know the PCM1716 from BB accepts three systemclock frequencies:
11.2896 /16.9344 and 22.5792 MHz for a 44.1kHz sampling frequency source i.e CD. This does not affect locking of the DIR CS8412/CS8414.
I don't see any advantage of the higher frequency at first glance.

The avatar is a detail of a ornamental glas window
of a church in Oostvoorne. If I look on the map and visited the place everything seems to be called Kwak: Quackjeswater, etc.
I admit I never heard of a place called De Quack. Where is it in Holland? 😕
Oostvoorne is west of Rotterdam at the border of the North See.

I can understand the reason for your choice and think that this avatar reprecent you in manny ways. (name, tranquility, nature etc.etc.) Nice!
But I miss you'r old avatar, it was, ..... it was,........ it was, Elso's avatar.
