This is a terrible feature. Especially if you're doing a ctrl+f to find a specific word in a page. I've already read to the supposed bottom of a thread, replied to the what I thought was the final post only to see the rest expanded after my post went through.

Are you talking about the front page? I sounds like you're talking about reading a thread. I don't see that button. Where do you see this? Please provide URL, and optionally a screenshot! Thanks!

Similar to that. If it happens again I'll get a screenshot. It looks like posts above a certain length are collapsed. Here for example.

If you're using ctrl+f to find specific text it will be hidden until you expand the rest of the post.
