The metal cartridge of my Clearaudio Virtuoso v2 Ebony has become detached from the wood body. (I had a new cantilever installed, and when I went to reinstall the cartridge the metal cartridge just slipped out.) Looks like I should be able to reattach it with a dab of glue. Any reason not to do this myself? If it makes sense, what sort of glue should I use?
Thanks, Duncan. That's handy. The only question is whether the bond is meant to be permanent (epoxy) or whether the cartridge is meant to be detachable for future repairs, in which case epoxy is not the thing.
