Listen to "La del pirata cojo" or "Pacto entre caballeros" by Joaquín Sabina. The best.
i listened to it , good songs !
Surely, English people will not understand Joaquin Sabina music and lyrics, but I went to see him here in Buenos Aires, and this Spanish guy and when he play this two "rock" themes, the stadium explodes. And happen, that non rock themes of Sabina, are all beautiful, like Calle Melacolía, 19 días y 500 noches, Esta noche contigo, etc.
I clarify to the moderators that I´m writing original Spanish name of songs, and that translating them is useless and lost the meaning of them.

19 Days and 500 Nights is pretty easy. I had to Babelfish the other two, Tonight With You and Melacolia Street.
I listened to and enjoyed the Joaquín Sabina tracks. Personally, I'm keen on drums and drummers and found that the only shortfall, though it's only a minor complaint.
Years ago I got "spammed" by a band called Vuelo De Cenizas. I really liked the tracks they sent me. I forget where in South America they're from... Argentina possibly.

Translations are literally OK, but doesn´t mean nothing.

Sabina´s actual band is extraordinary. It´s incredible how do they sound when listen live. Pancho Varona and Antonio García de Diego are great musicians, althouugh none of them make a record like soloists.

Normally, here in the "*** of the world", excempting very few musicians, the majority of them are involved with politics, and become "officialist?" (When a person is toady of the President and his (her in this case) thinks and what he/she says), and I personally HATE VERY MUCH this kind of people.
The guy´s you say, I don´t know about them.

How time flies!
Speaking of classic rock (and metal), Ronnie James Dio (RIP) - sure you've heard of him?
Another that I'm surprised hasn't made its way in is "Bat out of hell" Meatloaf Meat Loaf - Bat Out Of HeLL - YouTube
Tony.
Tony.
i saw the Led Zep movie last night. it was awesome. Only one problem. Who ever ran the theater had the volume so low you could whisper to your neighbor. After someone got the ball rolling the crowd started to chant "crank it up"
They did but not enough. come on its Zep. But for you LZ fans its a must see. I just placed my order for the DVD
