Commentable Thoughts
The use of Symmetrical Ramp rather than SAWtooth wave yields more better results in terms of performance as far as output power is concerned.Since the triangular wave yields more accurate sampled PWM wave which is floating indeed, yet has a goodhead room to spare some dynamic range!

I guess the design is from the times Workhorse was not yet where he is now. I'd ignore it and contact the bloke directly.
This thread should be reignited by workhorse because its a interesting project for people who want a high power car amp without messing with the complexities of car smps.
