Class D speaker impedance

Have a Douk Audio Nobsound NS G05 which I think should be paired with 4-8 ohm speakers.
If I hook it to 12 ohm speakers, aside from loss of power, will anything go wrong?

As the input power supply voltage is variable, should I increase the supply voltage?

More voltage, up to the specified power limit, should help, but I really have no idea what other downsides their may be. At the very least the output filters will probably be sub-optimal.

Do you have a link to the specific amp you have? I couldn't find it searching the Douk Audio ebay store.

At a rough guess that amp probably outputs something like 20 or so clean watts into 8 ohm . Driving 12 ohms there's the chance it will clip on dynamic peaks and as others have said with cheap class D high frequency distortion becomes an issue . The ideal load for most is around 6 ohm which gives the best balance with HF . What are the speakers you have as a matter of interest ?
