Hi i managed my snake nest off cables
I use a minidsp and instead off using one amp for tweeters and one for bas/midrange.
changed so one
Amp does the left side and the other right side.
And strangely the sound is alot lower now
Before 48 volume was high and now 86 is the same volume. And it sound duller in both elements.
Can it be because off the impedance difference?
Tweeters are 6ohm and bas/mid 8ohm.
Checked the cables and everything i could think of.

Check the obvious - you are sending the correct signal to the correct amp input & connecting to the correct driver.
I assume you have speakers without crossover and are using one amplifier channel for tweeter and the second channel for mid/bass?
Connecting wrongly (sending bass signals) can blow your tweeters.

Well they have been damaged so they work
Very badly.But luckily got my
Old ones and also actually liked them more.
Will buy the sb waveguide dome tweeter.

I believe it is usual to fit a Tweeter protection capacitor.
Unless your amps are hardwired to drivers, use foolproof Speakon plugs.

I suppose the same goes for DSP to Amplifier - ensure they cannot be mis-connected. One day you might unplug for cleaning or service, you don't want even the possibility of mis-connecting.

Used protection cap removed. Probably should have put it back well to late now. Got them working again with cheap seas tweeter . lesson learned 140dollar lost and an annoyed girlfriend. Could be worse
