I'm looking to get a class d amp module for basic home hifi duties (to be combined with a raspberry pi but I digress). Looking around, the recommendation suggests this might be the go:

How much power do you want?
I was about to get that same board, But I ended up getting an ICEpower 50ASX2 for around $120au posted on eBay.
There is also the hypex stuff, but thats getting expensive to get into australia, The Hifimediy gear was about half the price.

Likely that Gizmo will be Fine.
Usually these cheapies work passably well. Although a few DOAs do happen.
IMO though that Pot Ain't Genuine Alps..Dunno about the Mundorf either... regardless of claims to the contrary.
As for power? Divide the claims in half and it would likely still be on the optimistic side.
