I've done simulations of Yamaha 7000D in Multisim12. Very nice works on low-and meddle frequences. But on 10...20kHz it works no good - tracker has no time to track signal. Power transistors was overheated, because tracker works envelope of signal, not snapshots of signal.
Situation can be corrected with raise of tracker self-generation frequency, by default it's about 10...15 kHz. It's not enouth for correct tracking of waveform.

He may have also called it Lightstar. This sounds similar to Bob Carvers Brightstar amplifier (i think that's correct, anatech is sure to correct me if i'm wrong 😀).
As has been said, it's worthwhile on really high power amplifiers. Not run of the mill stuff until technology improves.

I have a double-side PCB, based on original Yamaha 7000D, with some corrections.
Sample for preview.

PCB in Sprint-Layout 5 format
Scheme in S-Plan 7.0 format
Some items may not be signed, in this case refer to the original scheme.
Symmetrical input & 2nd order low-pass filter was skipped in scheme. It's easy 🙂

Hi Waso
greetings the modified XP7000 schematic you posted negative step side PLEASE can you compare it with negative step of detex audio detex audio positive step is working but deetex audio negative side step not working also
in detex audio negative side step one transistor is missing compared to xp7000
your xp 7000 and detex audio positive side matches exactly components to schematic PLEASEif its possible see detex audio negative side step
warm regards
Andrew😕

at 20kHz - terrible, at 1 kHz - ok. This amplifier is the same as Yamaha 7000D (same schematics).
