Looking for excellent discrete class A Balanced input to Balanced Output Preamp that will drive a class A amp with input impedance of 2k2. Any ideas?

I guess if im unable to get any ideas here. I suppose I could
get go Class A SE (single Ended) and have this Bal Trafo Box pre the Pre-amp to get the balanced connection im looking for.

Solid-State Balanced Microphone Preamplifier
I have successfully tweaked this design to have as little as 2.5dB of gain or as much as 70dB of gain.
In my case, I set the gain adjust to a fixed level. I used Jensen JT-11P-1 transformers on the input and JT-11-FLCF transformers on the output, with a relatively simple attenuator between the input transformer and the input of the circuit.
That's what I'm currently listening to, and it is a great preamp. The distortion is excellent and it holds up well in an actual listening test.
