Do clamp on inductors change substantially the impedance of 75R and 110R digital cables. They do change the sound somewhat.
I think the clamp on inductors would affect the impedence, but their effect is dependent on the frequency of the signal. I would think they have more impedence as frequency rises, since they attenuate the signal more at higher frequencies.
The amount of impedence, and especially at what frequency they start attenuating at, depends on the material of the inductor.
These guys, http://www.fair-rite.com
make ferrite beads and clamp ons. I think they would have some usefull information on the characteristics of ferrite beads.

Hi
They increase the CM impedance, which ofcoure can be heard.
I doubt if they also change the DM impedance, if they do, your digital interconnect is badly screened.
Measurements ?

I don't have the equipment; perhaps you have.

Uh, I'm sorry I have to ask, but could you explain what CM and DM is?
I did two years electrical engineering, but I haven't got the slightest idea what these mean 🙁

Hi
CM = Common Mode
DM = Differential mode

Fred
I never measured THAT effecet on cabling when adding clamps
