Hi guys,
am looking for a circuit simulator that is commonly used in ss amps, its got to have all common transistors in its library. What do you guys use?How is the real amp compared to the simulated?
Regards.

Most commonly used free simulator is ltspice. It is quite highly thought of, has a good range of parts.

Odd. I downloaded it from here: Linear Technology - LTspice IV Downloads and Updates
I just clicked on 'No thanks, just download the software'. Explorer shows it as having 9,516KB As it happens, I installed it on this machine just yesterday without problem. This machine has WinXP SP3. (32 bit)
I can't suggest much other than try again.

Yeah, I do remember somebody mentioning that before.
In this country it's a somewhat dismissive name for marijuana. I used it for my alias on some other forums, and I kept it when I joined here.
I smoked more marijuana than anybody else I ever met. Rednecks like to say it does you harm, but I'm the proof that at least it doesn't affect your ability to think straight.

Bob Marley said:I remember when we used to sit
In the government yard in Trenchtown
Oba, ob-serving the hypocrites
As they would mingle with the good people we meet
Good friends we have had, oh good friends we've lost along the way
In this bright future you can't forget your past
So dry your tears I say
Someone once said that most of the designs here are a product of 'high minds'!That great ideas come when one is high on anything. Now i know its true, last night i was high on alcohol and got the idea of a circuit simulator on my computer.I started a thread here and a couple of sips later,LTspice was in my system.I wonder what i can do with that stuff of yours...
