Heres another one for you Cal 😕😛
But its directed at everyone. What do you do with your speaker cutout circles, anything?
21,148 active members, that could equate to a whole lot of circles. Yeah I know, its a slow day at work and Im taking a break from reading.
So what do you do with them, heave them in the trash, turn them into firewood, or more interesting turn them into something thats functional or artistic?
Lets see

Some small speaker companies used to build their crossovers on them, and then attach it to the inside,
behind the cutout on the rear panel.
I have made toys for the kids (small cut outs make good wheels), shelves (mixed size cut outs), cake stands for the missis (baking mad), base for a lamp and a stand with a 12mm hollow metal tube for single plant photos....
Nice fish
The wire spools are a good idea. That would beat bunching them up in wads and having to untangle them when wanted. Or fido finding them. Chewing wire is #1 on dogs list of things to ruin given the chance. A/V remotes are a close second.

Is that the new BSD blowfish?
Cal, that beer holder in the front really looks the part there in the garden. Seriously. Or maybe it reminds me of coral.

The kinda came about because I made a brace and decided to use a different type. I dunno what I like so much about it, Id pick it up, Id look at it, Id put it down. We formed a bond of sorts. Then I arranged some scrap pieces that were laying around and this is what resulted. I just thought it looked cool as an ornament piece. Maybe simple red colored glass on the back would look best in a window sill.
Circles are woven into everyone's daily life in one way or another. But most people dont pay any attention to them. And why should they, there just circles after all.
They are woven into some spiritual believes. That hold no relevance with me that I know of. I just thought they looked cool. Maybe others will too. Maybe I can sell them to a hipster on ebay for some stupid amount. Or just keep them 😀

Ha ha I was thinking that it might be mistaken for some type of film award. When I put the glass on it it will take on a different look 😕.
Your picture in post 14#,
You are correct it has a "something"..
That something I have seen before in a painting which contained 4 squares of different colours. In an art program they demonstrated what was different about it. They created the same painting and changed the colours about and nothing else felt the same when you looked at it and that's what you are seeing here!
You need to be very careful what you do or you will lose the something and it will never be the same again<<you think I'm joking..I'm not..
It represents something to you..but you don't know what..You are discovering something within you..think about it.
Try rotating it and it doesn't feel the same..there is a reason its off set like that and you have done it for a reason. (the way it makes you feel)
Feelings are spiritual..even if you think they aren't. Do no permanent mods try it and see before you take the plunge and change anything.
Sounds nuts doesn't it..but it isn't. A bit like the dream catcher..but if you buy one it doesn't mean anything..now you know why.
Regards
M. Gregg

The offset looks to me that if you ran a straight line through the center of the top and bottom circles and then again on the right of the top circle and the left of the bottom circle you would have equal and opposite angles from vertical.

Thats interesting. Any chance you could get a picture of the model that they used?

I tried to center it up on the block by eye and offset it where it looked "right" or just the best to me. When I set it without any offset it didn't have the same appeal to me. I was thinking of red and green glass. But if it takes away I wont bother. Perhaps Ill just oil it so grains show up better.
