I want to built a line preamp and after many searchings I found a few projects for my "taste".
But I have an issue....what configuration should I choose?
I have 6h30 tube.
In next link is a fine design concept but should'n be a cap in cathode of the tube for minimum distorsions?

The Euridice project is famous and I wondering if I could replace the 5842 tube with 6h30 without any modds in the components.

The last one is Toccata preamp but ...I'm interested only the last part...the line stage.
Also I'm thinking to replace 5687 with 6h30 and to not modify any other components.

I know...is many questions, but the experimented guys should know what I want.Minimum components for the right sound.
What is your oppinion in this issue?
Any thoghts will be appreciated.

No, you don't necessarily need a cap.

The Euridice is clearly the best line stage of the ones you link to. You can replace 5842 with the 6S45PE/6C45Pi, which should be an upgrade.

Include a simple 6N30/6H30 SRPP line stage. The biasing might be off. I'm not good with that and have an even harder time with the Russian tubes since the datasheets don't tell you very much.
